LQCIL'07 - Lisbon Quantum Computation, Information and Logic Meetings Series

Workshop on Quantum Cryptography and Security 

July 18-20 2007, at IST, Lisbon, Portugal

Call for abstracts

LQCIL'07 will inaugurate the biannual Lisbon Quantum Computation,
Information and Logic Meetings Series. It will be devoted to quantum
cryptography and security, bringing together researchers from both
classical and quantum information security to exchange ideas and
discuss the latest results and future directions of the field.

Two types of contributions will be accepted for the workshop:

1) Original results.
2) Results already published/submitted that might give a significant
contribution to the debate.

Possible topics include:

- Security and cryptographic protocols
- Quantum cryptanalysis
- Quantum networks
- Formal methods to specify and verify security protocols
- Quantum information theory

Abstracts, with at most 2 pages, should be submitted by e-mail to
lqcil@math.ist.utl.pt in pdf format.

Original contributions presented at the workshop will be invited to
submit to a special issue of the International Journal of Quantum
Information and Computation, and will be subject to peer review.

Selected papers submission  November 30, 2007
